How does your B&B compare to other accommodations?

Poipu Inn is unique in many ways. We provide the quaint and cozy atmosphere of the B and B experience but welcome all. We’ve had great reviews from families to younger people and travelers from around the globe. Part of your experience at Poipu Inn is what everyone brings and tailored to your needs – a great traveling story, a favorite home cooked dish, and many shared experiences. Our Aloha with our guests and many locals is what makes us a unique and cherished place. Sashimi Sundays with live local musicians will quickly become one of your fond memories. Traditional B&B’s cost more money and are larger with more guests. Poipu Inn is flexible and caters to your needs and personal vacation planning in a way that larger hotels and other B&Bs can’t offer. Unlike traditional hotels, Poipu Inn offers you your own personalized vacation at a flat rate. This means there are no hidden costs, i.e. cleaning fees, booking fees, etc. Because you have kitchen access, you can save money on food to spend on your adventures or nightlife. How far is shopping for food? Can we cook our own meals?

One – 5 minutes away from shops, organic and traditional food stores, restaurants, and bus. You are welcome to cook your own meals. It is not uncommon for guests to share cooking with each other. Nearby, Kukuiula Village hosts a variety of shops and marketplace many great restaurants.

How close are you from the airport? Do you provide transportation?

We offer our guests an airport pick up for $25 one way. Taxis, airport shuttles and rental cars are also readily available. A taxi is generally $50 and an airport shuttle is $38 each way. Commercial rental cars are also available from near the airport.

Do I need a car?

No. It will make some remote access areas easier but many travelers find their way around by bus or hitchhiking. Many of our best beaches, water activities (snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking) and hiking and points of interest are within walking distance.
